Job Description
We Got This Canada is a non-profit organization working with a mission to help families experiencing food insecurity. We are looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to help us achieve our Fundraising goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Researching prospective donors.
- Identifying, assessing and developing new fundraising opportunities and relationships with institutional donors, private foundations, trusts, local businesses and individuals to diversify and increase revenue streams.
- Creating a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors.
- Contacting potential donors.
- Exploring different platforms to raise donations.
- Organizing campaigns or events to raise funds.
- Maintaining records of donor information.
- Evaluating the success of previous fundraising events.
- Ensuring that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A Diploma/Degree in Social work/ Marketing or communications is considered a strong asset
