Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

• Develop, write and edit marketing and communications materials, including press releases, blog posts and social media content<\/li>
• Promote communications and marketing materials through appropriate social channels<\/li>
• Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns<\/li>
• Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standards<\/li>
• Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos<\/li>
• Work with communications team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns<\/li>
• Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to achieve brand placement in publications<\/li>
• Develop escalation protocols for managing communication crises, should they arise<\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications and Education Requirements<\/strong><\/p>

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field such as communications or journalism or equivalent<\/li>
  •  <\/li><\/ul>

    Skills & Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Experience in creating digital content and managing communications campaigns<\/li>
    • Understand the best practices of main social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc<\/li>
    • Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content<\/li>
    • Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team<\/li>
    • Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously<\/li>
    • Creative thinker, ability to work well in a team setting.<\/li>
    • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset<\/li>
    • Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices<\/li>
    • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts<\/li>
    • Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction<\/li><\/ul>
